Important Credit Account Changes – New Fetti Account
Is there a fee to receive a paper billing statement?
Effective August 1, 2024, we will charge a $1.99 Paper Statement Fee each time you receive a paper statement for your WebBank/Fingerhut Fetti account. Note, the Paper Statement Fee will not apply to account holders residing in states where such a fee is prohibited. In addition to your monthly statement, the Paper Statement Fee also applies to requests to reprint your statement(s). You will be billed $1.99 per paper statement you were sent the previous month unless the ending balance on your account was $5.00 or less. You can avoid the fee by consenting to receive electronic disclosures, which includes billing statements, on or before your payment due date. To avoid the fee, change your consent to receive electronic disclosures by logging into My Account on fingerhut.com. What is the Fingerhut Fetti credit account?
Fingerhut Fetti is the name of our revolving credit account that customers use after April 12, 2022, to make their purchases while utilizing Fingerhut credit. Our previous credit account, Fingerhut Advantage, has been closed for purchasing and the Fingerhut Fetti credit account was created to replace it. Because our agreement with our financing partner for the Fingerhut Advantage credit account has ended, we wanted to continue to offer you the same benefits as you had with your Fingerhut Advantage credit account. This is how Fetti started!
If you have a Fingerhut Advantage credit account and a Fingerhut Fetti credit account, you will need to make two separate payments until each balance is paid in full.
Why was the Fingerhut Fetti credit account created for me?
Customers who were in good standing with their Fingerhut Advantage credit account automatically received a new Fingerhut Fetti credit account. There was no application or additional hard inquiry to open this account.
Does this mean I will have two separate payments to make, and how do I do that?
Yes. If you made a purchase after April 12, 2022, this means you activated your Fingerhut Fetti credit account and need to make payments on this account. If you also carry a balance on your Fingerhut Advantage credit account, you will have two separate payments due. Your payment due date was kept the same for your Fetti credit account as it was on your Advantage credit account to make it simpler to manage.
To make your payment(s), just sign into your MyAccount at www.fingerhut.com. Simply click on either account, and follow the prompts to make your payment. For a step- by-step tutorial video on how to make your payments, click here https://youtu.be/IMAl7QVEffE.
Will my recurring automated payments that are on my Fingerhut Advantage credit account be applied to my Fingerhut Fetti credit account??
If you set up recurring payments on your Fingerhut Advantage credit account, they will remain in place unless you make changes. If you would like to have the same convenience on your Fingerhut Fetti credit account you will need to set that up. You may do this by signing into your account at www.fingerhut.com. Visit My Account, select Fingerhut Fetti and choose Make a Payment. Click the Recurring Payment button to set up your automatic payment.
Will I receive a new Fingerhut Fetti card or account number?
A welcome kit was mailed to you and included your new Fingerhut Fetti credit account details, along with a new 16-digit account number. However, your 10-digit customer number did not change.
Which account number do I use to make my payment if I have both the Fingerhut Advantage and Fingerhut Fetti credit accounts?
For payments, it’s very important that you use the correct 16-digit account number for the Fetti or Advantage payment. Your Fingerhut Fetti and Fingerhut Advantage credit account numbers can both be found in your mailed welcome kit or on your paper statements. If you cannot locate either of these, feel free to call Customer Service at 1-800-964-1975.
When making payments using your bank’s bill pay service, you will need to use the 16-digit account number so we can appropriately apply the payment to the account.
Which Fingerhut credit account can I use to make purchases?

Will there be impacts to my credit score because of this change?
As you know, there are many factors that go into your credit score. It’s very difficult for us to provide a definitive impact to your credit score, but illustratively it is possible:
- Opening a credit account typically boosts the account holders’ credit score. This is because you have two tradelines reporting to the bureaus.
- However, an unused credit line may be closed for inactivity, which may negatively impact your credit score.
- A history of on-time payments over time will have a positive impact on your credit score.
- It is very important to continue making payments on your Fingerhut Advantage credit account and Fingerhut Fetti credit account. If these accounts become delinquent it will negatively impact your credit score.
People sometimes think closing an account takes away from a person’s credit history and hurts their FICO® Score, but that’s not true. Your FICO® Score looks at the length of both open and closed accounts. Closed accounts will be a part of your credit history on your credit report for many years.
